WILL GAY MARRIAGE FALTER??
Gay Marriage seems stalled in Albany even as the rent and property tax issues seem to be moving towards a settlement.
Andrew Cuomo has provided extraordinary leadership in rounding up the support of all but ONE Democrat -the recalcitrant Reverend Ruben Diaz Sr. Now, senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos must stand up to conservative Party Chairman Mike Long and conservative members of his caucus who seek to block a simple up or down vote.
Have we come all this way to fail now???
Clearly Gay Marriage proponents, of which I am one, are within ONE vote of equality if we can get a simple roll call vote.
I am crossing my fingers.
