MADAM:  PUT POKER AT OTB

Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Kristin Davis today proposed the State legalize poker at the state’s existing OTB locations and “other locations as may benefit the state’s economy,” rather than shut down the off-track betting sites in New York as is currently being proposed because of OTB’s precarious financial situation.

“New York could make millions of dollars in revenue by legalizing, regulating and taxing poker games in New York State,” said Davis who supplied call girls for Eliot Spitzer and went to prison for breaking the laws against prostitution.  Spitzer was not charged.

“The State should bid these poker rooms out to Steve Winn, or Donald Trump for the best possible management and presentation,” said Davis.  “The State should legalize gaming because we are losing billions of dollars of revenue to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and Delaware.  Poker should be a first step.”

Davis noted that the State of Florida legalized poker games and took in an additional $10.8 million this year in gaming revenue.  “As Governor I would push for poker at appropriate locations across the State, including all OTB and pari-mutuel facilities,” said Davis.  “It is an attractive alternative to raising taxes and closing OTB.”

Davis has previously proposed the legalization, regulation and taxation of both prostitution and marijuana.  “Support for legalized gambling fits my libertarian outlook.”

Kristen, once again YOU ARE RIGHT ! The vice market holds a ton of money to be made ! Most people want it anyway, but are too polite to say anything about it.We need to legalize the big three, prostitution, marijuana and gambling. I commend you on having the balls to say the truth ! I pray you become Governor !!
