DAVIS CALLS ON ABC TO DUMP SPITZER
What’s next, a show on relationship advice hosted by Hiram Monserrate?

Feminist Gubernatorial Candidate Kristin Davis, formerly known as the Manhattan Madam who supplied escorts for Eliot Spitzer while he was both Attorney General and Governor today called on ABC Radio (77WABC) to end negotiations with Spitzer to become a fill-in host on the ABC Radio Network.

Davis said she learned of negotiations between Spitzer and ABC from a lawyer intimately involved in the discussions with the disgraced former Governor.

Eliot Spitzer illegally utilized prostitutes while serving as the highest Law Enforcement Officer in the state. “He violated the Federal Money Laundering Laws as well as violating The Mann Act which prohibits transporting a woman across state lines for the purposes of prostitution.  He violated the public trust and used his political connections and wealth to avoid prosecution.

“Spitzer also abused his power as Governor by illegally ordering the State Police to violate The Public Officers Law in his efforts to use the State Police to spy on his political opponents and then repeatedly lied about it until his emails were released in the wake of his resignation. He has evaded prosecution and responsibility for all these acts”. Said Davis.

“WABC can have Eliot Spitzer as a guest and can most certainly interview him but bringing him on as a host condones his illegal behavior and his betrayal of the public trust” said Davis who served 4 months on Riker’s Island for her role in the prostitution scandal that took Spitzer down.

Davis said she would urge supporters to contact ABC Executives to oppose Spitzer joining the network as a host. Davis also said she would lead a boycott of ABC Radio if Spitzer’s role was formalized. “What’s next, a show on relationship advice hosted by Hiram Monserrate?”

“Eliot Spitzer is symptomatic of the entire political class that evades responsibility for their actions and their lack of progress on any of the issues facing New Yorkers” said Davis who has vowed to collect more than 15,000 signatures to place her name on the ballot in this November’s Election. “WABC Radio Executives should think twice before they give another politician a pass” Said Davis.
