KRISTIN DAVIS, MANHATTAN MADAM TO FORMALLY ANNOUNCE CANDIDACY FOR GOVERNOR AT A PRESS CONFERENCE

Kristin Davis, known as the Manhattan Madam who supplied call girls for Eliot Spitzer when he was Attorney General and Governor, will announce her candidacy for Governor of New York State as an Independent Candidate at 11am on March 1, 2010 at the historic Roosevelt Hotel located at 45 East 45th Street at Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017- 2nd floor, Sutton Suite.

Davis will announce her intention to petition her way onto the ballot and will outline her platform, which includes legalization, regulation and taxation of prostitution and marijuana to generate urgently needed new revenues for New York State and her support for gay marriage.

I could never vote for this person. While absolutely agree with her views, I could never actaually cast a vote for someone who has made money of of prostitution. I believe we absolutely should enjoy the rights to engage in this activity both as a performer and client. But when it comes down too it, there's just something that can't be sanitized about it.

what is the difference between prostituting oneself sex and with power like the politicians? I would trust a sex prostitute (you know what your getting) more than a political prostitute.(which gives all the promises and delivers what)?

I was 100% behind Kristin Davis until I read this article. http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-03-02/spitzers-madam-runs-for-governor/ My question now is Kristin Davis even CONSIDERING the Swedish model for prostitution? Because if she is I want no parts of her. This is pure male hatred if so. For those who do not know what the Swedish model is it means prostitution is only illegal for the BUYER. So if a guy hires a call girl he goes to jail while she commits no crime. Just wondering if anyone knows Kristin's stance on this.

Hey Kristin! I actually just found out about you today. I think what you are trying to accomplish is awesome! I have many friends that are in the business...i know exactly how it runs.
