Last week I celebrated a birthday. I was lucky enough to spend the daqy with my mother who means the world to me.

This last weekend, my amazing and gorgeous friend Lola threw a party at Rebel NYC (www.hedonline.com). We celebrated there with my nyc friends. They gave me a painful birthday spankiing (all in fun) and a beautiful cake and sang to me. It made me cry. Its been a very rough year and an uphill battle to rebuild my life. I feel very fortunate to have some amazing friends.

While you may read my blog and think my life is full of fun and games - thats far from the truth. I spent 4 months in jail and had ALL of my assets seized. I came out to no apartment, no money and an impounded car. The friends I thought I had were all gone. The man I loved was cheating and only cared about me for my money. My entire life changed overnight and not for the better.

I've slowly rebuilt my life including making new friends. The trash is out of my life which is for the best even if it broke my heart. I no longer tolerate bad behavior and dishonesty. I value this entire experience for teaching me about myself and about whats important in life.

Here are a couple of pics from the party.
